You built something physicians trust.
We've done it ourselves.
And we’ll honor what it’s worth.

We acquire founder-built physician staffing firms and run them for the long term.

The opportunity

Physician trust built your business. Technology builds on it.

The firms that pair that trust with technology — AI-native recruiting, modern credentialing, infrastructure most small firms can’t build alone — will define what’s next.

That combination is exactly where we’ve spent our careers. Let’s talk about what comes next for yours.

A good fit

What we look for

We run the companies we buy, so we choose carefully. Here’s what we’re looking for:

Founder-built

Started and shaped by its founder, with the founder’s standards still in the walls. We want the culture you built as much as the contracts.

Physician staffing at the core

Locum tenens only, or locum-focused — serving physicians and the facilities that depend on them. Profitable, with a real reputation among clients and clinicians.

The right moment

You’re starting to think about what’s next — succession, retirement, or a partner who can carry the business into an industry that’s shifting fast.

A team worth keeping

Good people doing good work. Your team, your clients, and your name are the asset we’re buying. Continuity is the starting point.

Why we’re doing this

Our careers led us here: running staffing businesses from the operator’s chair. We’ve led nine-figure private and public companies and taken two through IPOs — and we know how to grow revenue and EBITDA.

The proof

Why Long Coat Capital

Here is what we bring to the business you built.

Operators in the chair

We’ve run staffing businesses ourselves — owned the P&L, hired the recruiters, answered to physicians and clients. We know this business from the inside.

The full arc of healthcare

Physician platforms, nine-figure companies, two IPOs — we’ve worked every side of the industry your firm serves: commercial, financial, and operational.

Technology as a growth engine

AI-native recruiting, modern credentialing, and product leadership are our native language. We bring the infrastructure that lets a trusted firm grow faster than its market.

Structured around you

Full sale, majority stake, or phased transition — structured around your timeline. Tell us what the right handoff looks like, and we’ll build the deal around it.
